This pack brings many subtle and small tune-ups to Minecraft, while still being very vanilla friendly and approachable. The goal is to clean up many of the game's inconsistencies, add QoL features to add enjoyability, and smoothen progression and fairness. It has 100+ changes and/or additions to the game, so there's something for everyone! Many of these features are built into their own mods or other data packs, but this one compiles them together for a neat and uniform experience!
Here are some of the biggest changes:
- Tweaks to loot tables for fairness (mob drops, chest loot, etc)
- Enchantment rebalances and fixing the Anvil/Experience ecosystem
- New combat features and improvements to various equipment
- New smelting and stonecutting recipes, and fairer crafting
- New block interactions that bring life to the game where it's missing
- MANY quality of life improvements that make you wonder why the base game doesn't have these
Many of these are also togglable so you can fine tune your experience. The whole pack (apart from settings) are completely Translation Friendly, so it works in any language, improving immersion
The goal is not just to make another Vanilla+ pack, but to also make a Minecraft+ overhaul and cleanup.
Detailed features can be found below:
Enchantments and Combat
Trident: Now a findable utility item that becomes an absolute powerhouse in the rain. Removed from Trial Chamber, but added to ocean ruin chests. Repairable with Prismarine Crystals. Is classified as a sharp weapon. Channeling works in the rain, since thunderstorms are so rare. Impaling works like it does in Bedrock. Loyalty Tridents return from the void, and can retrieve items that they land on
Crossbow: Properly fulfills it's role as a crowd-control weapon, bringing damage to many enemies at once. Multishot and Piercing are not exlusive, and Crossbows can also be enchanted with Flame and Punch
